Disney Frozen Clothes

This movie is so popular among kids late last year and I can foresee that little girls everywhere would love to dress in Disney Frozen clothes for Halloween this year. I searched Amazon site and found that there are indeed several costumes available for sale already. I am featuring several of such costumes on this post. By the way the costumes feature here are not from Disney Store. All costumes featured below are cheaper alternatives to Disney Store's. If you want an excellent quality costume and doesn't mind spending a little bit more you can head out to Disney Store website. I advise you not to buy it from Amazon because the sellers are charging up to 3 times the actual price.

Elsa Costume from Frozen 
Dress 1
I found several costumes suitable for little girls but only featuring 2 of them here. Here's the first one...

 Disguise Disney's Frozen Elsa Deluxe

Ok, let see the features of this dress:

• The dress is made from polyester.
• It has sheer sleeves plus a sheer light blue overlay which is printed with pictures of snowflakes.
• The costume is included with a crown, as seen in the picture. 

Before you buy this dress it's good to know the pros and cons of it.

The pros:

• The price is rather affordable (less than $40).
• Hold up well even with everyday use (considering the price).
• True to size.
• Many reviewers commented that this dress look exactly like the one in the picture.
• Fast shipping even without expedited shipping.

The cons:

• You may want to hand wash it because of the sheer materials.
• A reviewer commented that the crown is not so good (made from cheap plastic and easily broken) and you might want to purchase a different crown.
• Some reviewers commented that the material caused itchiness.

Well, at that kind of price (less than $40), it is unfair to expect this dress to be as good quality like the one from Disney Store. However, if your little girl is a big fan of Elsa you probably want to get her this costume instead of buying a more expensive one from Disney.

Dress 2

 Disney Frozen Enchanting Dress

If you want a cheaper Elsa costume, why not get this one? Last I checked the price was less than $20! But before you go and click that button, lets see the pros and cons first.

The features: two layer skirt with glittery snowflakes/icicles designs. Crown is not included.  

The pros

• Very affordable and suitable to wear when playing outside.
• Some reviewers commented that the quality is quite good even if the price is cheap. 

The cons

• The material is a bit scratchy but to avoid itchiness you can get your girl to wear a shirt underneath it.

If you are expecting a high quality dress, you will be disappointed. This dress is great as play dress. If you ask me if I would buy this dress I would say Yes simply because it's affordable and kids don't care about quality as long as they get to dress up like their favorite character. But if I were to choose between the two dresses, I would go for the first one because that one has better materials than this dress :)

Anna Costume from Frozen
I found several Anna costumes but I thought I won't feature the one from Disney Store simply because it's too expensive :(. But if you so incline to purchase that one, here the link to it: Disney Store Princess Anna Costume. I am featuring two Anna costumes here.

Dress 1

 Disney Frozen Enchanting Dress -

The features: satiny dress with glittery flowers on skirt and bodice. Crown is not included.

The pros

• It looks exactly like the one in the picture. Great design and colors.
• Good quality despite the cheap price.
• Fit true to size.
• Great for play dress.

The cons

• This dress need to be hand washed.
• Some reviewers commented the sheer sleeves are easily ripped.
• The materials are flimsy and might be difficult to mend.

At the time of this writing the price quoted on Amazon is $19.90. Now, that's very affordable. However, if your little girl is a big fan of Frozen and like to dress up as Anna all day, everyday, you probably want to get something with better quality. But if you are looking for a dress to wear for a costume/birthday party (one time use) this dress is ok.

 Disguise Disney's Frozen Anna Deluxe

The features: Made from polyester. Multi layer skirt with black vest decorated with gold sequins and green vines.

The pros

• If you don't have a high expectation this dress is ok. Of course the quality is not as good as Disney Store's but if you have sewing skill you probably could mend it a bit. 
• A good play dress.

The cons

• A reviewer commented the dress has musty smell when it first arrived but after a couple of washing the smell is gone.
• Scratchy materials. 

At the time of writing, the price is $30.39. If I were to choose between the two, I choose the first dress simply because the price is cheaper and the quality is not much different.
